I have always been interested in art and painting. Very early in my career I taught art at the grammar school level but then returned for a degree in Medical Illustration. I worked as an illustrator in Washington, DC and then lived in Jamaica and Egypt working for Project HOPE. While living overseas I worked to develop, and train others to develop, medical education programs. Upon returning to the US I joined corporate America and worked for more than 20 years for medical and medical device companies. I left the corporate world to create, along with my business partner, our own company for training medical device sales representatives. With the flexibility of having my own business, I was able to paint a few hours each week and now in retirement, it has become my full time passion.
